Most of John's previous work has been traditional landscapes depicting places he's visited, and reflecting his enjoyment of hiking and backpacking. More recent work has been a bit more spiritual, with the occasional appearance of a stylized projection of himself into the composition. Many of his recent works include references to his other pastime Astronomy.
